42nd Annual Old Greenville Black Powder Rendezvous

April 16 – 18, 2021
Located at the Greenville Campground
This is the longest consecutive running rendezvous in the state of Missouri! This 3-day event will feature living history encampments; black powder shoot, knife and tomahawk competitions; vendors; children’s games and more. Food concessions will be available. This is a fun, FREE, family-friendly event that offers something for all ages. Hours are Saturday 9am – dark and Sunday 8am – 3pm. Friday is setup day for vendors.

Poplar Bluff Spring Soccer Classic
April 17-18, 2021
Located at Whiteley Park & Black River Park, Poplar Bluff, MO
Poplar Bluff Optimist Soccer League and Poplar Bluff Park Department have teamed up to host soccer tournaments in the spring and fall for travel teams. Watch for information about tournaments, registration, sponsorships, etc. Thank you for your support!

“While already very well-known in the comedy/improv world, recently both on MTV’s Wild’N Out and the Wild’N On Tour, DC has also produced the comedy, #DigitalLivesMatter, and can recently be seen in Will Packer’s Almost Christmas and BET’s The New Edition Story. He can currently be seen each weekday on MTV as the host of the highly anticipated revival of TRL featuring celebrity guests everyday.” – Pop Up Comedy Series. Kids to Parks Day

Located at Redman Creek Recreation Area
Come enjoy YOUR public lands through this national initiative! Launced in 2011, Kids to Parks Day is a nationwide celebration of the great outdoors designed to connect kids and families with their local, state, and national parks and public lands. By teaching our kids to appreciate and enjoy our public lands, we can foster future outdoor enthusiasts and create the next generation of park stewards and caretakers of these important places. From 10am – 2pm, we’ll host a variety of fun water safety and recreational themed games and activities, full of prizes and family fun! This event is FREE to attend!

Jack Miller Memorial Kid’s Fishing Day
June 5, 2021 from 8:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M.
Located at Lost Creek Pond
Bring the kids out for an exhilarating morning of FREE fishing for children between 5-14 years of age! Life jackets, rods, reels, and bait will be provided, as well as games for the participants to enjoy. Afterwards, a light lunch will be provided while supplies last. Greenville Jack O’ Lantern Jubilee
October 16, 23, and 30 from 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M.
Located at the Greenville Recreation Area
Accompany area businesses, groups, agencies, along with a variety of other ghosts and goblins as creative campers decorate their campsites and generously welcome trick-or-treaters into the campground. This is a FREE, family-oriented event. On one of those Saturdays, there will be special activities in the day use area. Specifics will be shared once that date has been selected.
