Disney’s Beauty and the Beast

Step into the enchanted world of Broadway’s modern classic, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. Based on the Academy Award-winning animated feature, the stage version includes all of the wonderful songs written by Alan Menken and the late Howard Ashman, along with new songs by Menken and Tim Rice.
The classic story tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed into his former self. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.

Annual Chamber Golf Tournament

Join the Poplar Bluff Chamber of Commerce for their annual 3-man scramble Chamber Golf Tournament! Registration is $125/Chamber Member and $175/Non Chamber Member. 10th Annual Iron Horse Festival
September 28, 2019 from 10:00 A.M. – 4:00 P.M.
This year’s festival promises to be bigger and better than the last year’s! In fact, we have teamed up again with the Butler County Fair, John J. Pershing VA Medical Center & Missouri Extension to provide a full weekend of fun activities and events you have come to expect and love. A few of the events we offered last year were: a day of live, local entertainment, tasty festival food & drink from local restaurants as well as other vendors, a kids 1-mile and 5k and 10k races, arts & crafts vendors selling and demonstrating their wares, FREE children’s activities such as face painting, crafts, games, and bounce houses and much, much more.
